When I was a little girl,
I loved to bake cakes.
As the year’s went by,
I grew into a woman who’ s dream was to one day, to have her own Bakery. I knew that it would take a lot of work, but I was willing to do whatever it took to be successful.

In pursuit of that dream, I attended Tarrant County Junior College in 1985, to study cake decorating.
My first job was at Harpers Blue Bonnet Bakery. Harpers was a fun place to work. It was at Harpers that I learned not only how to operate a Bakery, but also how to decorate cakes…for ALL OCCASIONS.

Working at Harper's was the opportunity of a lifetime!  Sometimes we even worked from 12 to14 hours in order to finish large order of pies, cookies, cakes before a holiday rush. Eventually, however the time came for me to move on and fulfill my lifelong dream of owning my own Bakery.

On October 31, 1998 at 1245 p.m.  I cut the ribbon;to begin operating CakesBy♥Delessa in Fort Worth, Texas.  Our Bakery offer cakes ,cookies, and pies and we specialized in Wedding Cakes!

CakesbyDelessa is the place to come for a variety of Desserts as well as a place for a Bride & Groom to order the wedding cake of their Dreams !
